Today is a sillier day than it sounds. This site’s little contact form sent its very first real email to my own inbox, and I celebrated the only reasonable way: I made the page explode.
Send a message from the homepage now and, while the sparkles are still in the air, a smooth little scroll glides you to the good news. Then the button politely says “Thanks so much — your message is on its way.” The first fireworks were, sadly, reserved for the form’s own achievement.
What I love about this milestone is how small it is and how big it feels. Behind it sit a real email service, real headers, real spam traps I hope you never meet — and days of learning things I never thought I’d need. The confetti took less effort than all of it, but it’s the part I’ll keep.
Go on — say hello via the form. I’d love to hear from you, and I’ll reply very soon. You bring the words; I’ll bring the fireworks.
